On Aug, 1, 2020, operational control of the Battleship Texas, was transferred to the Battleship Texas Foundation. https://battleshiptexas.org/

These pictures were taken on board the U.S.S. Texas in December 1931 by Clement G. Lanni of Rochester, New York, former Navy Officer. He was a guest of the U.S. Navy Department, Admiral David F. Sellers, a native Texan, was in command. He later became Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Navy. These are the only moving pictures showing life on board the Texas, during Lanni's six week cruise on the Pacific Ocean. These pictures are presented to the State of Texas by Mr. Lanni.
