How to replace a PCV valve on 1.6HDi/TDCi engines (Peugeot/Citroen/Ford/Volvo), the correct way!

Sometimes this part number refers to the whole rocker cover including the PCV valve cap with membrane and the oil filler cap.
The PCV (positive crankcase valve) of the 1.6HDi/TDCi engines is integral to the rocker cover. This is how to replace the diaphragm, as part of the PCV. Sometimes you may get a bit of smoke constantly from the exhaust and the PCV membrane might be broken, this was not the case in my engine, but worth a check.
The car is Peugeot Partner (2007, 90bhp, no DPF, M59, 1.6HDi, ~106k miles).
