IMPORTANT ADDENDUM:
I've been contacted by a few very helpful and knowledgeble people who have indicated that you can apply for self-accreditation with the ECFMG, and as long as you START this process before 2024 then you are 'safe' in terms of USMLE and applying for residency, even after 2024. So not a huge deal as long as you take action relatively soon.
UK medical graduates (as of 2024) may no longer be able to apply for specialty training (residency) in the USA due to recent changes by the ECFMG.
