Hazrat Maulana Syed Mohammad Rabey Hasani Nadwi
when his younger brother visited hijaz and holy place of Makkah.
میرے عزیز بھائی تم کو سلام پہنچے
My beloved brother, may salaam reach you
بعد از سلام میرا تم کو پیام پہنچے
After Salaam my message may reach you
تم کو بہت مبارک کعبہ کی ہو زیارت
May the visit of Kabaa be a lot of blessings for you
قابل ہے رشک کے جو تم کو ملی سعادت
Liable of emulation is this fortune you got
جتنا بھی فخر تم کو محسوس ہو وہ کم ہے
Whatever pride you may feel is less
بس میں نہیں کسی کے، اللہ کا کرم ہے
None has the power, it’s grace of Allah
اس وقت تم جہاں ہو وہ ہے مقامِ رحمت
At the moment, where you are, is the place of blessings
مینھ کی طرح برستی ہے صبح و شام رحمت
Like a rain, showers down blessings, day and night
ہے ایک کام تم سے میرا اگر کرو تم
I have something, if you could do for me
بھولوں نہ عمر بھر میں احسان گر کرو تم
Never will I forget the favour for life, if you could do
مجھ کو بھی یاد رکھنا شام و سحر دعا میں
Remember me in supplications, morning and evening
کعبہ کے پاک در پر، عرفات میں منی میں
On the doorstep of Kabaa, in Arafat, in Minaa
کوہِ صفا پہ چڑھ کر کعبہ ہو جب کہ رخ پر
On the mount of Safaa, when Kabaa be in front of you
مروہ کی سیڑھیوں پر مسعی میں رہ گزر پر
On the staircase of Marwah, on the place of Sayee, on various pathways
منبر کے سائے میں بھی، اندر حطیم کے بھی
Under the Mimbar, within the Hateem
رکن یمانی چھو کر، در پر کریم کے بھی
While touching Rukn-e-Yamani, on the threshold of the Generous One
دیوار سے لگا کر سینے کو ملتزم پر
On Multazim, while holding your chest on the wall
چل کر مطاف میں پھر رُک کر ہر اک قدم پر
While walking around the kabaa, then while stopping on every step
پردہ سے تم لپٹ کر آنسو بہا کے کہنا
While clinging to the cloth of kabaa, and shedding tears, say
کعبہ کے پاک در پر سر کو جھکا کے کہنا
On the threshold of Kabaa, while lowering your head, say
بیتِ عتیق کے رب اپنے کرم کا صدقہ
Lord of the ancient house, in charity of Your Generosity
اور رحمت و محبت بے کیف وکم کا صدقہ
And in charity of blessings and love unlimited
تو نے مجھے بلایا تیرا بہت کرم ہے
You called me here, it is Your grace
اک اور مضطرب ہے جو مبتلائے غم ہے
There is one more tormented who is suffering from grief
بے تاب ہو رہا ہے اُس کو بھی تو بلالے
He is growing anxious, please call him too
دنیا سے دل ہٹا کر اپنا ہی تو بنا لے
Divert his heart from worldly affair, make him Yours
دن رات جا کے زمزم تم بار بار پینا
You must go and drink ZamZam water, day night
میری طرف سے بھی تم دو چار بار پینا
Do drink couple of times on my behalf
للہ میری جانب سے بھی طواف کرنا
I request you to perform Tawaf on my behalf
آنسو جو چند نکلیں نذرِ غلاف کرنا
Few tears, when they pour, dedicate them to the cloth of Kabaa
ہوگا نویں کو عرفہ رحمت کا روز ہوگا
Day of Arafah will be on 9th, it will be the day of blessings
قلب و زباں میں پیدا جب درد و سوز ہوگا
When pain and sorrow be produced in heart and tongue
مشغول ہو دعا میں عرفات کی زمیں پر
Be busy in supplications on the land of Arafat
ذرّوں کو خاک کے تم مَلتے ہوئے جبیں پر
Rubbing the particles of dust on the forehead
تم بے قرار ہو کر سجدے میں جب پڑے ہو
Anxiously, when you are in prostration
پہلو بدل رہے ہو، مبہوت سے کھڑے ہو
Changing sides, standing astonished
اشکوں سے بھیگ جائیں جب حاجیوں کے دامن
When the cloths of Hajis are damped with tears
ایسی جھڑی لگی ہو بھادوں ہو یا کہ ساون
Such continuous rain pouring, as if rainy seasons
چیخوں سے اپنی حاجی تھرّا دیں جب فضا کو
When the cries of hajis tremble the atmosphere
جب رحم آئے سب پر بے ساختہ خدا کو
When God bestows mercy spontaniously
ہوگا وہ ایسا عالم ہر سمت نور ہوگا
Such will be the condition, Nur shinning everywhere
قلب و نظر پہ طاری کیف و سرور ہوگا
Cheerfulness and intoxication will be overwhelming
ایسے پیارے عالم میں مجھ کو یاد رکھنا
In such a lovely situation, remember me in dua
ذکر و دعا سے للہ مجھ کو بھی شاد رکھنا
Keep me delighted with remembrance and supplication
اللہ تم کو ہر دم اپنی اماں میں رکھے
May Allah keep you always in His security
اپنا بنا کے تم کو دونوں جہاں میں رکھے
Make you His own in both of the worlds
حج کا سفر تمہارا صد بار ہو مبارک
May your journey of hajj, hundreds of times be blessed
جانا بھی ہو مبارک، آنا بھی ہو مبارک
Blessed be your going, blessed be your returning
