Hello ! Everyone let’s talk about story of Indian in Azerbaijan Village . I hope you saw my previous vlog in which how I came from city Baku Azerbaijan to Sheki Azerbaijan, have shown you my first impression of Village Sheki , have shared you few facts about this Azerbaijan village as well .
Welcome you all to the new vlog , as my last vlog was ended up while it was raining and I was in the park at night and I didn’t have any idea where I would be going or sleeping at night . The very first guy whom I have contacted in the Park asked me where you would be going , have you had booked any hostel / hotel in Sheki , Azerbaijan. I said No , he also discussed about going to any party for the several times but I thought we were already wet & how we will be going to party .
I just followed him , sat in Soviet car Lada and ended up in front of any house , I thought it doesn’t seems to be some party place after reaching he asks me to speak in a low voice and he also mentions that he don’t live at this place and lives to some city of Azerbaijan & told me that he is in Sheki Azerbaijan for work . In a room there are four beds , one bed was to keep clothes and other stuffs , two were actively for sleep , brother made bed for me .
In dinner we eat Chicken Salami with Ketchup sauce , Big breads with Curd Salad soup ( Raita ) , Azerbaijan villager treated Indian so nicely , when he came to know that how I travel , do hitchhiking & sleeps in park or streets when no one hosts me . He became emotional and offered me 20 Azn / 1000₹ , but I refused , I never want to take money directly rather happy if person give me free ride or hosts me at his home . We slept around 1 am and I wake up by 9:30 am with a lightly morning view of Azerbaijan Village . Majid bhaijaan gave me very well complete demo of how to use washroom for bathing in Azerbaijan village .
It’s the time of July in Azerbaijan and it rains almost everyday , which is very enjoyable to be around at this time . Later House owner invited me for breakfast. Majid bhai house in some other city i.e Mingecevir , Azerbaijan and he lives here on rent . After having tasty breakfast aunty ji asked me eat his Azerbaijan girl who works at Tourist center of Sheki , Azerbaijan . We went their by bus , in this Azerbaijan village Non AC small bus 🚌 runs and only cash works here ( ride for 20₹ ) . Within 6 mins we reached to Khan Sarai and met lovely Azerbaijan girl there .
I have explained about the geography and importance of Caucasus mountains arounds , about the names of Caucasusian countries which are Azerbaijan Armenia & Georgia . There are Caucasus mountains in Southern Russia as well but it can’t be called as Caucasian country . If you are coming to Azerbaijan how can you plan your trip also explained in the video . According to your time schedule you can travel to Gabala , Lahich , Sheki , Kish , Ganja which are quite touristic places of Azerbaijan .
Later the time we visited the Caravansarai of Sheki Azerbaijan. Sarai mean resting place . Sheki has great importance in ancient Silk Road , traders from all over Indian used to come at Sheki for trade and meetings . In 18th & 19th centuries many Caravansarai were made for people to sleep . One of them is this which is quite beautiful comprises of Upper Caravansaray and Lower Caravansarai both floors having 200 rooms each . Lower Caravansarai were used for trades and meetings & Upper Caravansarai for sleeping and resting . Silk was produced in a huge quantity in Sheki Azerbaijan, apart from Silk , trading of metallic works , and , Azeri Carpets , ceramics etc. were used to be done . Sheki silk production were quite high in among other Caucasian countries which are Armenia & Georgia .
I also got chance to see the room from inside as the rooms of Caravansarai were made very comfortable for the traders coming from all over the world belonging to ancient Silk Road . Now complete Caravansarai has been converted into Hotel . After having to tour we decided to go back to Azerbaijan village house . Aunty ji called his son his name is Aziz before taking us to home , he took us to show the sky view of Azerbaijan village from the top . He rides a Taxi in Sheki Azerbaijan . After leaving us home he went again for work and joined us later for the Lunch .
In lunch we ate wonderful Azerbaijani cuisines , minced lamb with gram flour dish , curd , popular Soviet juice drink Kompot , Watermelon & scramble egg with sliced raw tomatoes . It was great to have those Azerbaijani cuisines in Village of Azerbaijan .
