We've had a lot of
We've had a lot of unique and delicious dining experiences over the years, but this one just might take the cake. Through word of mouth in Mexico City we learned of this restaurant in Oaxaca City that we HAD to go to called Alfonsina. It sounded promising - Alfonsina is run by Jorge Leon, who has previously worked at top restaurants like Casa Oaxaca and Pujol (under top chef Enrique Olvera).
FINDING Alfonsina was a completely different story. No website, Facebook page, Instagram...and Google Maps only showed it as a house in a rural neighbourhood. It sounded possibly sketchy, possibly amazing, so obviously we were in.
