नीरजा भनोट के भाई अनीश भनोट ने सुनाई अपनी जाबाज़ बहन की कहानी. Neerja Bhanot की कहानी पर बनाई गई फिल्म Neerja जिसमें Sonam Kapoor ने मुख्य किरदार निभाया था. अनीश ने बताया कि उनकी बहन सदैव एक प्रेरणा स्वरूप रही है. वह बचपन से ही एक Sensitive और hardworking लड़की थी. उनके पति के बुरे व्यवहार के कारण उनकी शादी टूट गई लेकिन Neerja ने हार नहीं मानी और अपना modelling में अपना करियर शुरू किया. Pan am एयरवेज के इंटरव्यू और ट्रेनिंग के पहले एटेम्पट में ही वे सीनियर फ्लाइट लीड बनीं. हाईजैक में लोगों की जान बचाते हुए नीरजा ने अपने प्राण त्यागे. अनीश ने बताया कि Neerja अन्याय कभी नहीं सहती थी और गलत का साथ नहीं देती थीं. साथ ही उनकी कहानी यह सन्देश देती है कि माँ-बाप को अपनी बेटियों का साथ सदैव देना चाहिए.

Neerja is the courageous story of a 23-year-old girl - an air hostess - who lost her life while saving passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5th September 1986. Movie releases in theatres on 19th February 2016.
Aneesh Bhanot, brother of Neerja Bhanot, shares never-heard-before stories of the Pan Am braveheart. Aneesh tells the brave story of her sister. He says that Neerja was very hardworking and a caring person. Her marriage didn't work well because of her husband but she didn't stop living her life. She followed her passion for becoming a model even after getting divorced. She became the senior flight air hostess of Pan Am Airways in the first attempt that too at the age of 22 which was a great achievement for her. She sacrificed her life to save the passengers on the hijacked flight. Aneesh says that she never tolerated injustice and never stopped working hard.
