Today we walk from Martim Moniz in downtown Lisbon to uptown Areeiro, along the Rua da Palma and Av. Almirante Reis.
Martim Moniz and the lower Moorish Quarter are known for being a hub for East and Southeast Asian communities in Lisbon, and are home to many shops with regional foods and goods.
Walking the streets to Areeiro, we come across some Lisbon neighbourhoods, like Intendente (a recently gentrified area), Anjos, and Arroios. This is the very same route taken by the green line of the Lisbon Metro.
