Join us for another "Tech Corner" look at the newest innovation from Kato Japan - the HO E5 Shinkansen "Hayabusa", releasing December 2013!

The E5 "Hayabusa" (Falcon) utilizes Kato's latest technology, coreless power trucks, combined with free floating and tilting trucks to replicate Japan's latest bullet train's smooth motion and high speed operation.

The HO E5 uses kinematic car-to-car connections and has a recessed coupler system built into the nose just like the prototype model.
