In a recent interview, Elon Musk said that the best solution for the Taiwan issues is to set up a Taiwan Special Administrative Region, which has higher level of self-governance than Hong Kong. His remark caused intense criticism from both the blue and green coalition. Some media from mainland China also regarded it as inappropriate.
