Corrections:
1) UP State elections were held in 2012 and leadership changed in March 2012 and not 2013( so 2 out out of the 3 Indian GPs were held under Akhilesh Govt).
2) In 2011 Japanese GP and in 2012 Brazil GP was Vettel's title decider not Indian GP.

From 2011 to 2013, India hosted Formula 1 races. India is the country with the most tigers in the world and is home to some fantastic tourist sites as well as huge cricket lovers. Many Indian Formula 1 fans miss the sport and feel that the Indian Grand Prix simply didn't last long enough given its enormous potential. The local government's decision to classify Formula 1 as entertainment rather than sport resulted in a tax dispute, which caused the cost of the event to soar. This is one of the reasons why Formula 1 no longer competes in India. The Buddh International Circuit and the event's organisers were responsible for covering all costs because the Indian Grand Prix was not supported by the government. It was simply too much, as you'll see in the video.
Enjoy.
