1978 USAC Ontario 200 Indycar Race

-With the Indianapolis 500 coming up this weekend, here's an upload of a review of a vintage Indianapolis car race from March 1978 held at the long-gone Ontario Motor Speedway in California. The track opened in 1970 with great fanfare as a West Coast Indianapolis, but a poor 1970s economy and poor track management ultimately doomed the facility and it closed in 1980 and was demolished. Still, in its decade it left a legacy of memorable races for Indianapolis-style "Champ" cars as well as NASCAR. -This is not a full race telecast but a 19 minute review of the race and events leading up to it hosted by active driver Johnny Rutherford. The race was won by Danny Ongais.
