Spiritual enlightenment is important and relevant to every human being. In the Gospel of St Thomas Jesus attributes poverty to someone who has not realized Spiritual Enlightenment. Jesus says, without Spiritual Enlightenment, man is in poverty.
In Christianity today, Gnostic teachings are specifically geared towards Spiritual Enlightenment. The Gospel of St Thomas is specific and extensive in the recordings of the teachings of Jesus about Wisdom within us, the darkness within us, the light within us, the spiritual transformation process, Self Realization, Trials in life, and Spiritual Enlightenment
The Gospel of St Thomas describes trials in life bible verse as follows;
(2) Jesus said, "Let him who seeks to continue seeking until he finds. When he finds it, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All."
(3) “Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and it is outside of you. When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."
(5) Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you. For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."
At the end of this video, Anthony Nayagan gives a revealing truth testimony about his trials in life and how the Holy Spirit guided him through revelations of hidden truths about himself, helped him through transformations, and prepared him for the Mighty Works of God
Jesus says in Matthew 5:14-16 NKJV
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
What is the light within us shining? Or is the light within us shining? If not why is the light within us not shining?
