Built in 1847, Octagon Hall stands today as a monument to a by gone era. The hall has been a residence, Masonic meeting lodge, a hospital, and even served as a safe house for soldiers during the Civil War. The Octagon Hall is widely regarded as one of the most haunted places in the South. It has been featured on A&E, The Travel Channel, Syfy, The History Channel, Discovery, and many others. We spent 18 hours in the House, and investigated until 5 am in the morning, we were exhausted by the time we left to travel to our next destination, but we left with happy, content hearts and another paranormal hangover.
