Stealing A Friendship

The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex best friend who she helped out after an abusive relationship. She claims she bought a car from her former bestie, and her ex-friend stole it from her. She’s suing for what she paid. The defendant claims she was the one who took her ex-friend under her wing. She admits she did sell her a car, but she took it back because her former bestie trashed it and never paid for it.
