The first Monday in May is famously one of the biggest night's on the fashion calendar, with hundreds of the industry's biggest names descending on New York's Met Museum in a spectacular display of creative style.
With this year's Met Gala having been indefinitely postponed - or possibly cancelled altogether - due to the social distancing restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, we thought we'd mark the occasion by taking a walk down memory lane.
