Wheelchair Awareness

Today is International Day of People with Disability which promotes inclusivity and celebrates the achievements and contributions of people with disability.

We understand that having diverse teams, an inclusive culture and an accessible workplace has a huge impact on the wellbeing and engagement of our people.



To help raise awareness for the day and highlight some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities our Head of Culture and Reputation, Chris Akayan and our Leasing Manager Greg McManus spent a day in a wheelchair. The aim was to find out first hand how our office and the working day is experienced by wheelchair users.



The team will use insights from this experience to improve our spaces, systems and practices to support the inclusion of people with disability. Watch this video to find out how they got on.
