The Black Country Museum 1940s 1950s and 1960s high street is the newest part of the museum and recently three new shops have been opened. I couldn't wait to go and have a look around! Langers Army and Navy Store, Spring Hill Post Office and the 11th Halesowen Branch Cooperative store are the newest addition to the museums portfolio and I am going to put my neck on the line and say they are the best additions yet for a social history lover like myself, particularly if you are fascinated in mid century history. Please come with me for a look, I found it a highly emotive and interactive experience and I really hope you enjoy it too. I hope this video sparks some happy memories for you like it did me. As always all videos are filmed, edited and scripted by me, Lucy, a social history addict from Birmingham, England who loves for you to travel with me. If you haven't already please consider subscribing, it's free, and really encourages me to get out there and keep exploring. #socialhistory #socialhistoryofengland #historicengland #midcentury #midcenturymodern #midcenturydesign #midcenturyhome #socialhistory #blackcountry #blackcountrymuseum #museum #ukheritage #livingmuseum #ukexploration #visitengland #dudley #wolverhampton #birminghamuk #thepast #foodhistory
