Former Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste fined R123 million for insider trading: Brandon Topham

The Financial Sector Conduct Authority has fined former Steinhoff CEO Markus Jooste and three others at least 241-million rand million for insider trading. The insider trading breaches were in respect of share transactions in Steinhoff International during November and December 2017. The Financial sector market conduct authority imposed a fine of R123 million on the former CEO.
