॥ সুপ্রিয়া দেবীর রেসিপি- সাগর দই ॥
যখন কোজাগরী আসে, যখন লাল বেনারসী পরে সমৃদ্ধির দেবী শ্বেতশুভ্র পেঁচার পিঠে আসীন হয়ে উড়ে যান জ্যোৎস্নাবিধৌত আকাশে আকাশে, ডেকে ডেকে বলেন- “কে জাগো রে?”, যখন ভোগের গন্ধে আমোদিত হয় গৃহকোণ, কে ভাবতে পারে সে উৎসবরাতিও বাজে বড় বেদনার মতো? তিনটি মানুষের টানাপোড়েনে হয় ক্ষতবিক্ষত? চাপা কান্না ঢাকা পড়ে মাপা হাসিতে? এ সিরিজ় শেষ করবো লক্ষ্মীপুজোর গল্প ও রান্না দিয়ে- সাগর দই। মানুষের জীবন নিয়ে উক্তি করা বড় সহজ। সে জীবন বাঁচা বড় কঠিন। তারই সাক্ষী হোক এ রান্না।

When the sacred full moon night arrives, clad in a red Benarasi saree when the goddess of prosperity rides on her white owl and flies along the moonlight washed sky, calling out for them who are awake and await her arrival at night, when the aroma of ‘Bhog’ fills the households, who could think that such a sacred and holy night too could burn silently in pain? That it could be torn apart by the dilemma between three hearts? That the silent tears would be covered with a silent smile? We end this series with the special story and dish from Lakshmi Puja- Sagar Doi. It is so easy to comment on people’s lives. It is indeed difficult to live it. Let this dish be witness to that.
