The secret to a great
The secret to a great tasting cup of milk-based coffee is the texture of milk.

Textured milk is successfully created by using a steam wand with a high pressure, which along with heat will create thousands of tiny bubbles that will work together and produce a creamy velvety texture. Once you have learnt how to texture milk using your espresso machine, it will also provide you with a base to begin pouring creative latte art designs on your specialty drinks at home.
Directions:
1. Fill your jug with fresh cold milk to just below the spout position.
2. Before you begin texturing, we recommend you purge the steam wand and allow the pressure to build, this will also remove any excess milk residue that might have got stuck in the wand from previous uses.
3. Next, place the steam wand into the jug just below the surface of the milk, and make sure the jug is resting on the sensor located on the drip tray. It is important to ensure the milk is covering the steam tip.
4. Press the steam button to allow the milk texturing to begin, once the selected milk temperature has been reached, milk texturing will stop automatically.
Remember different brands and milk alternatives might texture differently, so you might need to adjust your temperature and pressure accordingly.
