When it comes to the biggest and BEST VR games they all usually have one thing in common; mod support! Beat Saber, Boneworks, Bonelab, Blade and Sorcery, they are all incredibly popular and infinitely replayable games thanks to an amazing VR modding community who continue to pump out exciting new content. Soon another incredible VR game will be joining that list and if this first VR mod is anything to go by it has the potential to be absolutely HUGE. This is the new Hellsplit Arena update which adds mod support to the game, the first mod that's available to beta testers is one of the BEST VR mods I've seen to date, a perfect 1:1 reconstruction of the Resident Evil 4 village onslaught complete with music, roguelike elements, unique animations, a custom character and items pulled straight from the Resident Evil series. If this is the quality of the FIRST Hellsplit Arena mod I can only imagine the kind of content the community will soon be able to make for this game...
This Resident Evil 4 VR mod for Hellsplit Arena is available now for those who are testing the beta branch of the game and will be available to everyone soon when the update goes live. Hellsplit Arena has the potential to be one of the best VR games out there and this new VR modding update could be what tips it over into the heights of Bonelab, Boneworks and Blade & Sorcery... Until then I'll be living out my best VR Resident Evil dreams and waiting for the official Resident Evil 4 Remake release!
