Do you know Sonic's origins? While the Americans grew up with Archie's take on Sonic the Hedgehog, us Brits got to enjoy Fleetway's Sonic the Comic. That comic gave us the back story of not only Sonic, but Robotnik as well!
Sonic's origin story tells us everything we ever wanted to know, and it was revealed as early as 1993! Did you know that Sonic was originally a regular brown hedgehog? How about the fact that his speed is his own and that the only thing special about his sneakers are that they're frictionless? Did you know that Robotnik used to be called Kintobor, and that his origins are directly tied to Sonic's?
In this video, we'll explore the first nine issues of Sonic the Comic, including Sonic and Robotnik's origin stories, plus some surprise appearances from characters you wouldn't normally associate with STC - including Sally Acorn!
