This is the most important lesson in the course and might be the most important pronunciation lesson you ever watch! But it won't be easy! You'll learn how to break out of your language's posture with the dead tongue sound, control the front, middle, and back of your tongue independently (meaning that you only move that part either up, down forward, or back without the other parts moving), as well as some throat awareness and control basics.

The three parts of phase 0 are: language awareness (your native language and American English), ear training (if needed), and training the tongue. I wanted to include the other two parts because they're so important and basic to the process, but we won't spend a lot of time on those here.
