This whole melodrama of PMC started last year in October when UHS was about to conduct MDCAT. Almost everyone had prepared UHS syllabus. All PMC wanted was to conduct a SINGLE NATIONAL MDCAT from SAME SYLLABUS. First of all, they enhanced the syllabus (Mainly Sindh board and some other boards students didn't had many topics in their curriculum) So, a bunch of students filed case on PMC in LHC,as a result PMC cunningly reduced syllabus. Then again PMC was not a legal council, two people were trying to fool 1.5 lac students.
So, students from Sindh board again filed case on PMC in SHC for two main reasons.
1)PMC was not legal since they didn't had a proper council and structured functional body.
2)Wanted common topics as syllabus from all boards curriculum.
Just 2 days before NMDCAT, it was delayed on 11 November so that PMC could form a council. And for the second, they cajoled if there will be any question out of syllabus,students can come up for a case.
Just because VP of PMC wanted to conduct NMDCAT as soon as possible the gave a date 29 November when COVID-19 was on it's peak. Every institute got closed on 24 November there was a lockdown in AJK despite of that they were determined to conduct MDCAT on same date. Some students were covid + and many of them were covid carriers. Students asked help on every platform, arranged protest , hunger strikes , still PMC changing their own policy said we will conduct another mdcat for the Co+ student on 13 December. 14 questions were out of syllabus so they promised to give grace marks which was a BLUFF! On the result day, some students were not in gazette plus more than half of population was not satisfied with their result so they applied for recheck. But rechecking was also nominal. Such a betrayal 🙂 This was not enough. So, now for this year, PMC increased registration fee to 6,000 RS (Not affordable for poor people of Pakistan) and then different tests on different dates. Wow!
JUST A BIG WOAH! Like what was a purpose of PMC except single MDCAT.
They are causing distress to students. 95% wrong questions/out of syllabus questions/wrong options/same options. Completely maltreating cream of Pakistan.A cordial congratulations to you if you've scored good in MDCAT luckily because your test was not out of given syllabus. But,Having seen my friends suffer due to incompetency of PMC is really heartbreaking. How is it even possible to fail after studying days and nights 2nd and 3rd time 🤷🏻♀️ This council has literally collapsed mental health of brilliant students 😤 , how students face their family, specially relatives. They don't know how people look down upon MDCAT Aspirants, how students tolerate those laughs and destructive criticism. 😓
I feel so sorry for this society and system.
Keep trying,trying and trying, have faith in Allah's blessing, He will do miracles.
