Virginia Beach has many tourist hotels and motels right along the Atlantic coast which has a beautiful wide beach and a spacious concrete lighted boardwalk.
There is no shortage of tasty restaurants in town. Many activities exist for those rainy or too hot days-including museums, a mall, an aquarium, etc.
For those nice days outside there is putt putt, arcades, Dave and Busters, Sk8house, numerous community rec centers, YMCA, tons of boutique and second hand shopping.
Water sports for every type abound-kayak, canoe, jet ski, boat, fish, yacht. There are dolphin tours year round and whale watching in the winter during their migration
