This video includes 90 mins of planes landing and departing Funchal, Madeira. From a well known location to spotters around the world
Madeira airport is renowned for its difficult approach due to the location of the runway and is always an exciting place to go to see pilot skill in full effect during the sharp turn onto finals
Both directions were in use during this video, this is due to the winds being relatively light during my few days here
The spot is about a 25 min walk from the airport itself and there are a few bars and even a place to stay very close to the location
