Welcome to another episode of our new series "A day in the life". Today's episode is special and something very dear to our heart.
Today we would like you to Introduce you to Dommanic Bell, SST here at Medic Ambulance and Lieutenant of the Robbin Mackbee Youth Firefighter Academy. We are so proud to be sponsors of this program because of stories like this! Dom has been in the Youth Academy since he was 15 years old. Learning valuable skills from mentors like Retired Fire Chief and founder of (SFARY) Byron Berhel, as well as our EMT's and Paramedics here at Medic Ambulance. After building a relationship with Dom over the years, he decided to take his career to the next level by taking classes at Solano Community College and working at Medic Ambulance as an SST. The skills he will learn in school as well as working here will set himself up for success in the future and help him reach his ultimate goal as a Firefighter Paramedic. Supporting the Youth Academy is so important to us because not only does it allow us to set our youth up for success but it also creates young people in our community to become assets by learning lifesaving skills at such a young age. We are so thankful for this collaboration and we will continue to inspire more youth in the years to come.
