One of the key changes is in Assassin's Creed Origins' combat, in which new Assassin Bayek fights in a much more measured, controlled style than in previous Assassin's Creed games.
It's now practically a cliche to compare the combat in an action game to Dark Souls, but with Assassin's Creed Origins' emphasis on locking on, maintaining distance, dodging and mixing up light and heavy attacks, you can connect the dots for yourself.
