When you sit at the piano, you need a plan. A plan to start and a plan to finish! Most chord charts or lead sheets start with the first line of the first verse.

But that's not how the song starts. So how do you start the song? How do you end a song? And what do you do if you see those dreaded words, "Interlude"?

If you don't know and you're playing in public, it can be embarrassing (ask me how I know). But this is your chance to learn from my mistakes so you avoid the same fate.
