Things you need in order to reset your passwords are,
1) Either an Installation CD/DVD of Windows Setup installed on your system or 2) A bootable USB/Pen Drive.

Once your USB is ready, plug it in to the system. If you are going to use installation CD/DVD, then insert it into the CD/DVD Rom.

Now start your system and as soon as your system starts Press ESC button to go to the Boot Menu. Once you know the option, press the key as soon as you start the system. After pressing the key, it will show us the list of the available bootable devices. As we are going to use the USB, we are going to select Removable Devices. Click next and then Click on Repair Your Computer.

Here select Troubleshoot and then select Command Prompt. In windows 8/8.1 you may need to select first Troubleshoot - Advanced

Option  "Command Prompt".

Type D: and hit enter to change the default path. Navigate to system32 folde by typing CD Windows\System32 and hit enter. I already told you that we are going to use UtilityManager tool to change the password. Ok? So this utility manager tool resides in

System32 folder. So first we will make a backup copy of UtilityManager Tool. In order to do that type this command. Copy utilman.exe utilman.exe1 and hit enter. This will create a backup copy of UtilityManager but with different name utilman.exe1.

Now to replace UtilityManager tool with Command Prompt type this command : copy cmd.exe utiliman.exe. Ok? It will ask you to

overwrite UtilMan.exe. Giving you the options Yes/No. Press Y and hit enter. This command has replaced utilman.exe with cmd.exe.

which means if you launch Utility manager, command prompt will be launched.

Here guys, remember to revert these changes once we successfully change the password. I will show you how to do that once we

change the password.

Restart the system by typing wpeutil reboot and hit enter. Remember to unplug your USB. Let the system boot normally from your

internal hdd. When you get windows logon screen, click on the icon (utility manager) on the bottom right corner (I have already told

you that In windows 8/8.1 Utility Manager is seen on the bottom left corner. ). As we have replaced the utility manager with

CMD.exe, command prompt will be launched.

Here type the command Net User and hit enter. It will show you the list of user accounts on your system. Currently I have forgotton

the password for following user account. KeyRun. Now type this command Net User Keyrun * and hit enter. Type the password you

want for your user account. (Remember that whatever you are typing will not be visible to you.) Once you type the password, hit

enter. Confirm the password and hit enter. Again it will not be visible to you. If both the passwords match, then it will show you

success message "The command completed successfully" Close the commang prompt. Select your user account and enter the new

password. Hit enter. You will be able to login to your user account.

Now that's a reliefe. Isn't it?

It is important to revert the changes we made through the bootable usb. Restoring the Utility Manager. Right? So Insert the bootable

USB or CD/DVD and restart the system. Once again and from boot menu select Removable Devices. Click next, click repair your

computer, click troubleshoot and click on Command prompt.

Redirect to the operating system drive by typing D: and hit enter. Again redirect to System32 folder by typing Cd Windows\System32

and hit enter. To restore the Utility Manager type this command, move utilman.exe1 utilman.exe.

Type yes and hit enter. Restart the system by typing this command : wpeutil reboot and hit enter. Remove the USB as our work is

done with it and let the system boot normally. There you go, type your new password and enjoy.
