DANCE BRAZIL

Under the direction of founder and artistic director Jelon Vieira, DanceBrazil  comes to  The Joyce for its eleventh season to perform mesmerizing works that highlight the companys signature fusion of Capoeira, Afro-Brazilian and contemporary dance.  The high-energy program includes the New York premiere of Fluxo & Refluxo (Flux and Re-flux), along with company favorites Banguela (2009) and Retratos de Bahia (2005).
