Separators

Separators are little rubber bands that are placed between teeth to create space for your metal bands to be placed. Metal bands are found on your back teeth and act as an anchor for your braces.

Once separators are placed, the second appointment will be to get impressions of the patient's teeth with space already created for bands to fit. The third appointment is when braces will be placed.
