No trace of salmonella found at Itacho Sushi outlet: Singapore Food Agency

No trace of salmonella was found during an investigation into the Itacho Sushi outlet at Jewel Changi. This comes after a Facebook post blaming the restaurant for food poisoning. Marc Wong had alleged that his wife suffered fever and stomachache after dining there. She was admitted to Mount Alvernia Hospital and diagnosed with salmonella. The Singapore Food Agency said it inspected the outlet and tested food samples, but did not find any salmonella. However, it did uncover an unregistered food handler, and it will take enforcement action against Itacho Sushi for that lapse.
