Texas Sustainable Strawberry Project

This video highlights the work of the Texas A&M AgriLife Sustainable Strawberry Project led by Russ Wallace of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension. The objectives of the project are to address the expectations of strawberry consumers, producers and retailers in Texas, and to improve field production and sustainability in the state. This strawberry project is part of the National Strawberry Sustainability Initiative (NSSI), a grants program funded by the Walmart Foundation and administered by the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Center for Agricultural and Rural Sustainability.
