Still very youthful and a developed colour. Slight hint of green, but excellent brightness. Beautiful purity on the nose here. I think this is a good example most consumers would perhaps understand minerality. But this one is really about wet stone and flint. A good definition of minerality. Fruit is still very youthful rather with hints of ripe lemon, some green apple and pear. There is a slight hint of nuttiness as well like fresh almond. A slight floral component. Really intense but more on that really stony mineral side. That purity shines through on the palate as well. There is an excellent grip here. In terms of fruit, it is still youthful and unresolved, I would say. Again this is more of an expression of that mineral sensation. Quite broad palate but bone-dry with an excellent level of freshness. Really mouth-watering acidity. A lot of nuance on the mid-palate with barely ripe pear, lemon, white peach. Good extract as well. It is not appearing bitter in any way. It certainly has that extract that leaves your mouth water. Tremendously long finish. So a very fine example of purity and elegance. We just miss some of those gratinated oysters.
