This is part 2 of my video series on "Understanding MBTI Functions", focusing on Ti (introverted thinking). Ti is my tertiary function as an INFJ. In the video I explore its uses in daily life as well as in society. If Ti can be summarized in a sentence, it's about CRITICAL THINKING and the PURSUIT OF TRUTH. I am perhaps more exposed to the function due to my experiences with NTPs in my family and social circle. I bring up its importance in analyzing situations logically, not taking things at surface level, discerning from emotional manipulation and scams.
On a larger, societal level, it is also crucial in voicing out disagreements with what is popular and breaking general consensus. This is so that hidden issues can be brought to light and dealt with instead of being swept under the rug and left to fester.
