Ukraine National Team. Battle of the Nations.
National HMB team of Ukraine appeared in 2009. The first qualifying events were held then and the first membership was formed.
Team's captain (from 2009 to 2013) was Anton Trubnikov, who took the responsibility for the organization of qualifying events, trips to championships and development of HMB in Ukraine.
Achievements of Team Ukraine:
- Team Ukraine steadily takes the second place in the royal category and is the only team that managed to defeat the absolute champion, namely Team Russia in one of the rounds of the "21 vs 21" category.
Team Ukraine is the only national team that managed to take a prize-winning place in "5 vs 5" (2nd place in 2010) and force out Team Russia from the top positions.
- In the all-round standings Ukraine occupies the 2nd place among the teams participating in the World HMB Championship "Battle of the Nations."
"Team's membership is renewed every year, we become stronger and in the future we want to make Ukrainian fighters a paragon for HMB fighters from around the world. We've been on the second place for long, so we'll fight for the victory even more fiercely. We train a lot, we know our mistakes and correct them."
