BAFT Future Leaders | What is a Transaction Banker?

Over the last several years, the transaction banking industry has seen a dual phenomenon of aging talent and expertise coupled with a declining interest in banking as a career choice for new graduates. The transaction banking business is often overshadowed by other areas of banking (e.g. investment banking, retail).

Due to this, the 2018 BAFT Future Leaders Class set out to create a transaction banking recruitment video that highlights the attractiveness and importance of a career in transaction banking.
