Behind The Voices Lion King
This Oscar-winning movie has become one of the most iconic pop culture references even though the movie debuted in 1994. Yes, more than 25 years ago. With the many sequels, prequels, spinoffs, games, and even a Disney junior series released in 2016. The voice actors who voiced these characters would come and go. A little fun fact before the list, do you know that Simba. Our main character throughout the franchise has 9 voice actors that come and go. I know right? That number is just unbelievable. but knowing that the character grows up as the plot progresses, so they need a voice for the cub version and the adult version. and there are a lot of films based on the lion king franchise. Honestly, it isn’t that shocking that 9 different voice actors have voiced Simba. Some of the notable people who have landed their voice as Simba are Matthew Broderick, who voiced the original 1994 version, Donald Glover who voiced the 2019 remake, and Rob Lowe who voiced the Disney junior series spin-off titled the lion guard.
