How to upgrade your ez-link card for SimplyGo’s platform

UPDATE: On Jan 22, the Land Transport Authority said it will be extending the existing card-based ticketing (CBT) system beyond June 1, to operate on the SimplyGo platform. It means adult commuters will still have the option of using their ez-link and Nets FlashPay cards on public transport. READ MORE: https://str.sg/E2Gi

If they wish, commuters who have bought SimplyGo cards or converted their ez-link cards to SimplyGo from Jan 9 can exchange their cards to a CBT ez-link card for free.

From June 1, passengers will not be able to use older ez-link cards that are not on the SimplyGo platform or Nets FlashPay cards to pay for their fares on public buses and trains. READ MORE: https://str.sg/6QmP

The phasing out of the 2 types of payment modes will not affect passengers using concession cards, including seniors and students.
