This is my DIY backyard dog agility training course built for my Border Collie on a budget. A very easy to build backyard agility course for dogs.
Welcome to NasTime Adventures. I put together this relatively cheap backyard agility course for my overactive, over anxious and very playful Border Collie pup. This was my way of celebrating his first birthday party in May 2015. Pepe and his doggy mates had the best time ever.
Let's just say up front that I'm I'm not hands on or skilled with tools in any way. What does help is that I'm a little OCD at times. I go into every project with a view of getting maximum value for minimum cost. Almost all the equipment you see in this video was built by myself using recycled materials or items sourced cheap and easy. The tunnel was purchased for under $50 off ebay and actually extends to 5 metres (not 5ft as stated in the video). I had to buy or find a few bits and pieces but I did actually have most of the parts I needed laying around the house. I estimate the whole package cost me around AUD $200.
