Vidushi Kaushiki Chakraborty is an embodiment of the purity of sound. Her concerts exude a state of calm and infectious energy. A torch bearer of the Patiala Gharana, @kaushikic has made a mark as one of India's leading female musicians in the Classical Music realm. Her intricate and soulful presentations are a confluence of technical mastery and aesthetics, that has earned her a repute across many national and global platforms. Her training with music started very early at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, one of India’s premiere music institutions where she trained under her father's Guru Pt. Jnan Prakash Ghosh and also by her father, India's leading vocalist, Padmabhushan Ajoy Chakraborty. She has also learned Carnatic Classical music under Dr. Balamurali Krishna.
Kaushiki Chakraborty is a renowned singer and composer and has performed in some of the most prestigious music festivals around the world, including the Dover Lane Music Conference, the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav, Saptak Festival, and renowned venues in India and abroad.
