Literary Terms and Devices: Poetry; Meter; Rhyme

In this new video, I will be talking about poetry and some of the terms that are associated with the SOUNDSCAPE of poems. In particular, I will discuss the use of meter and rhyme to create rhythmic and rhyming poetry. Having introduced the special terminology we use to identify different types of meter and rhyme schemes, I will then delve into Assonance and Consonance along Euphony and Cacophony. Finally, I will talk about stanzas. This should prove useful for discussing various poetic forms in next week's session. #Poetry #Meter #Rhyme
