Market corrections can be scary. These short, sharp drops of between 10% and 20% are driven by sentiment and can appear out of nowhere. It’s natural to want to try to avoid negative market performance, but trying to time a market correction could be the wrong move. In this video, Ken Fisher, investor and founder of Fisher Investments, describes how he thinks investors should react during a market correction.  
Because market corrections are driven by sentiment, Ken Fisher says they can appear from nowhere and are often accompanied by a seemingly scary story. But since corrections can reverse just as quickly when the underlying cause turns out to be not so scary, Ken suggests it’s often best to stick to your long-term investment strategy and hold tight.
