Project MUGEN: WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA????

Yeah, you know the answer.  This is a video all about the multiple MUGEN characters made of Spongebob Squarepants.

Being the first of a charater this popular and of an audience with such an age range, this is most likely to stink, and it does.  This character doesn't even have any voice clips of Mr. Squarepants, in fact the only sounds I remember of this character were taken from Kirby.  His sprites are ripped presumably from some sort of GBA game, which never works.  That being said, this character is very old, so the other Spongebobs have to be better.

Although this is a huge improvement over the previous Spongebob, this one isn't that great either.  He's so out of character and makes little to no sense, I mean, whose voice is that anyways?  With an array of dumb, predictable weaponry (I mean, a bazooka, laser, pistol, lightsaber, and raging demon, come on) and the MvC: EoH template, I wouldn't recommend this character, especially with who's up next.

Spongebob the Sponge (What, did he think he was making a Sonic character) (Felixmario2011, again)
This Spongebob is a HUGE improvement over Felix's previous one.  He actually got Spongbob's voice right this time and removed all of the dumb moves.  So, I'm surprised to say that this one is actually worth downloading, well, to an extent.  He still used that darn EoH template and his winquotes are hilariously horrid.  Well, they aren't that bad, they just have poor grammar, being translated from from Google Translate since the creator can't speak English.  I think "Oops!i am Ripped pants" would speak for itself.  It's also interesting to note that this is where the whole "ketchup laser" came from.

Remember when I said about the oldest SB, about it being so old that all other creations have to be better.  I deeply regret saying that, as these two doozies are FAR worse than the first Spongebob.  Like FelixMario's Sponges, these use the EoH template, but Noahs DOESN'T. EVEN. TRY. with these abominations.  The hitboxes are so horrid they barely even exist, the sprites are incredibly half-assed, and the moves are the worst thing ever.  In fact, I believe one version actually has a ketchup laser super, which has been a joke about bad characters.  It's like Noahs knows he's making a shit character.  The ketchup laser isn't even his worst move, sweetie. (and it's not his other bland moves like "Super Punch" and "Super Spatula")  His worst move is the dreaded "SpongePony" super.  I think this move gave me cancer, not only is this the most shameful shoehorn of that darn tiny horse show ever, it's OP as fuck as it's unblockable and does shitloads of damage.  But enough rambling about this fuckness.

Bonus character: Robot Chicken Spongebob (nobody knows who made this, really)
This curious piece here is really wierd, he is a spriteswap of someone who goes by the name 1055273004's Fluttershy (again with the darn horses) although it could be of any of his horselike creations, as they're all spriteswaps of each other. (In fact, I could do a whole damn video about these pastel equines)  This Spongebob has a "wacky" soundpack, as it's just random bullshit mashed together, and it DOESN'T deserve to use Joseph Joestar's famous "Oh! my! god!"  Beh, moving on.

When it comes to the best Spongebob in MUGEN, it's usually a tie with Crow's and FelixMario's new SB. (I mean seriously, nobody would be caught dead using SpongePony)  Then it all boils down to which one you prefer, a lot of factors come into play, the spritework, the combos, FelixMario's childish attitude, Crow's mahogany outlines that everyone ripped off, and the fact that Crow is working on a better Spongebob.  And the final verdict, at least for me, is Crow's version.  As his Spongebob has better spriting, despite his lack of comboability, Crow has a better one in the works that actually has pretty good comboing, and Crow doesn't act like a complete child whenever someone disagrees with him.

Bonus grandpa: Joseph Joestar (Nimame)
Remember when I said RCSB had no right using Jospeh's "Oh my god?"  Well, I have Joseph right here.  He's a pretty good port from his arcade game.  As for being in character, Nimame didn't have to worry about that since the arcade game already did it pretty well.  The same goes for gameplay, sprites, and sounds.  Overall, I like it.
