The Cleveland Browns clearly weren't
The Cleveland Browns clearly weren't interested in Brandin Cooks if the Texans traded him to the Cowboys for only a 5th & 6th round pick.
Brandin Cooks, 29 years old with a 12.3 million dollar cap hit, had 81 catches for 1,150 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games, with Deshaun Watson, was the presumed incoming star to give the Browns QB more firepower at WR.
Andrew Berry must have something else up his sleeve to get Deshaun Watson weapons if he wouldn't pull the trigger at that price.
Is it Jerry Jeudy? Mecole Hardman? Someone else we are not thinking of yet? Who knows, but the Browns need to do something to get another weapon in the fold for Watson.
The signing of tight end Jordan Atkins does help a bit, as Watson gets someone he's familiar with into the fold. Atkins has been injury prone during his NFL career, but has also been productive when he's on the field.
Aditi Kinkhabwala joins the show at noon to break down the week's biggest free agency moves so far.
