Who Was The Sith Lord Who Took On The Entire Jedi Council And Killed 2000 Jedi?
For 5000 years the Sith tried and failed to eradicate the Jedi Order. The Sith Triuverate and Palpatine came very close during the first and second jedi purges. However, there was another rogue Sith who killed almost as many; and you’ve probably never even heard of him. Darth Desolous was known for developing a highly lethal martial art and his use of cortosis; a metal that caused lightsabers to short out. After training a small army of Paaun’s, he killed 2000 Jedi using ambush tactics. Eventually, he was lured into a trap that prevented him from retreating. After facing off against the entire Jedi council, Darth Desolous was eventually defeated.
