WARNING: CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGES
Oh boy, does this bring back memories! In the last episode of the current series, I look back at the bizarrely titled ‘Mickey’s Wild Adventure’ - the much-improved 1995 PlayStation version of ‘Mickey Mania’, a classic for the Sega Genesis. The game sees Mickey return to his roots, journeying through time from one classic cartoon to another, battling birds, butterflies and weasels with that most fear-inducing weapon – the dreaded marble – which, of course, our epony-mouse hero is never without.
Flee from moose, unexplained fires and growth-stunted giants, as you fight your way through seven mildly satisfactory levels to defeat the evil Pete – the game’s toughest enemy, who can’t even walk. Wild.
Special thanks to Laura Liptrot (better known as the genie from the Aladdin pantomime trailer) for her contributions - she's just starting out with her own YouTube channel with some funny sketches. Check her out here: @lauraliptrot9456
