Easily Create a Token Presale with Bitbond Token Tool

With Bitbond Token Tool, you have the power to take your project to the next level. Let's dive into the simple steps to successfully create a token presale.

Step 1: Create Your Own Token

Once your token is ready, it's time to set up your token presale. In the left sidebar menu, click on "Create Token Sale."

Choose the network where you created your token and enter the token contract address. It's that easy!

To make things even simpler, we provide a dropdown menu with all the tokens available in your wallet. Just select the token you want and proceed.

Step 3: Configure Your Token Presale

Now you’ll be redirected to the token sale configuration page. First, select the payment token you wish to receive investments in, and set the token price in the desired currency. Keep in mind that you can choose any custom token as your payment option, as long as it's accessible to investors. If you decide to use a custom payment token instead of the native cryptocurrency, don't forget to provide the contract address of that token on the designated network.

Simply paste the token’s contract address on the selected network in the case you choose a custom token. We will choose USDC as a payment method for this sale.

Now, specify the token presale amount caps. Token Tool automatically calculates the number of tokens available for sale based on the price and cap.

To create urgency and boost investor participation, you can set investment amount limits per investor. Alternatively, you can leave it open with no limits.

Next, set the start time and duration of your token presale.

If you require funds to be locked for a specific period before being claimed, enter the number of lock days. This helps create trust and confidence among your investors.

Remember, if no lock time applies, simply set the number of days to "0". The "Token claim time" will be automatically calculated based on the token sale end time and lock duration.

Step 4: Customize Investor Access

Now, let's focus on investor access. You have two options: whitelisted addresses or open to all investors.

If you want to limit your token presale to specific investors, select "Only whitelisted addresses can invest" in the "Set Investor whitelist" section. This ensures that investments come from pre-approved addresses, adding an extra layer of security and control. This option is commonly used when you require to perform identity verification prior to allowing access to investment.

However, if your token presale is open to all investors, choose the option "Every address can invest." This is ideal for unregulated token sales like Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs).

Step 5: Select Your Token Sale Owner

It's time to choose the owner of your token sale. The owner of the token sale contract address maintains control over the offering process. If you wish for the wallet address to be different than the one connected to Token Tool, simply paste the desired wallet address in the designated field.

Congratulations! You're now one step closer to completing your token presale. Review all the information filled in the "Configure your token sale" section, ensuring accuracy before proceeding.

Step 6: Create Your Token Sale

Double-check everything, as modifying parameters later will require additional edits and transaction fees. When you're confident that all the details are accurate, click on "Create Sale."

A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to confirm the transaction in your chosen wallet. Remember that service fees and network fees will apply accordingly.

After the transaction is confirmed and processed by the network, a notification will appear, confirming the successful creation of your token sale. In the pop up modal you will find the Token Sale Contract address and the Token Sale link. You can share the Token Sale link with your investors or embed it on your website in iFrame to redirect investors to.

Congratulations! You've successfully created a Token Sale using the Bitbond Token Tool. Your Token Sale will commence according to the period you set.

Important: you must transfer the tokens to the token sale contract address via the Manage Token Sale function, before the start of your token sale. If you fail to do so, the token sale will fail.
